The Lion Foundation has supported Get Kids Active Charitable Trust since 2014. They run the Tough Guy and Gal events around NZ where intermediate school aged children tackle the mud and cold around an obstacle course.

For 2021 they will be running 11 events across 7 locations Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua, Tauranga, Napier, Palmerston North and Wellington. It is expected over 10,000 kids will take part.

The Lion Foundation granted Get Kids Active Charitable Trust $50,000 towards the costs of putting the 2021 events together.

Sandra Kai-Fong, Administrator said “Without The Lion Foundation’s support these events could not go ahead, so thank you from Get Kids Active and all the children who took part.”
