The Lion Foundation gave a grant of $1923 to help Hora Hora Primary School, in Whangarei, with accommodation costs to compete at the NZ Kapa Haka Championships in Cambridge.

“The children did brilliantly, winning awards for Y1-6 schools and costumes. The grant made this possible: without it our community would have had to contribute even more of their hard-earned and scarce resources.”
