New kākahu for Thames High School’s kapa haka group

A NZCT grant of $10,000 has allowed students at Thames High to represent their school with pride at the recent Tainui Kapa Haka Regional Competition in Huntly.

New Zealand Community Trust
Established in 1998, NZCT is New Zealand's largest gaming trust with 16% of market share. NZCT plays a significant role within the New Zealand amateur sporting fraternity. At least 80 percent of the funds they distribute go towards amateur sport. While sport is their focus, they are also a strong supporter of other worthy community activities, including local government projects and essential rescue services like Life Flight Trust and Coastguard NZ.
