Mobility Assistance Dogs Trust
Mobility Assistance Dogs Trust was founded in 2003 with the primary objective “to enhance the lives of people living with long-term disabilities by providing Mobility Dogs to increase independence, confidence, self-esteem and participation in New Zealand communities”. The bond between mobility dogs and their human partner can enhance a more active lifestyle, relationships and social interaction.
Mobility Assistance Dogs Trust received salary support from Grassroots Trust Central to the value of $5,000.00 to help continue the Organisations values of ensuring all those with a disability have the same right as their peers.
Quote received from Mobility Assistance Dogs Trust, “Thanks to Grassroots Trust Central’s generous grant, we can focus on making meaningful connections between our highly trained Mobility Dogs and the individuals who need them most. This funding is essential in helping us create life-changing partnerships that enhance freedom and confidence”.
